Wherever you find yourself today, we pray that you sense the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the reason we exist. It is our hope that the information you find here helps you get a glimpse of Bethel and encourages you in your walk with the Lord.

If you were to attend Bethel, it wouldn't take you long to figure out that we're not a church full of perfect people. However, in spite of our imperfections, God has shown us His mercy & grace. Because of this, we meet together to worship Him, thank Him, and learn from Him. We hope you can worship with us some time soon.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

GOD There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

GOD THE FATHER The Creator of the universe & a personal God who desires a relationship with all people.

JESUS CHRIST Jesus is “the Word” made flesh for us.

HOLY SPIRIT Our Strength, Comforter, & Guide.

THE BIBLE The written word of God, inspired by Him.

THE CHURCH The mission of Bethel Friends Church is to exalt God, equip believers, & engage the world with the love of Jesus Christ.

BAPTISM At the moment we confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior we are baptized into the body of Christ & receive eternal life

COMMUNION Our relationship with God as believers makes possible moment by moment communion with God.

* Bethel Friends Church teaches & emphasizes the necessity of spiritual baptism & communion. We also encourage water baptism & communion with elements as testimony, reminder, and celebration of what Jesus Christ has done for us through His life, death, and resurrection.

Jail Ministry:

Every Wedenesday evening @ 5:30 p.m.
Led by Rick Wolters. Any believer with a heart to minister and share the love of the Lord is welcome. Meet outside the jail at 5:15 p.m.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

Children's Sunday School Classes:

  • Nursery - Ages 0-1 - Tom & Karen Schechter
  • 2'S & 3'S - Ages 2-3 - Cathy Wolters & Patty King
  • 4's & KIND. - Ages 4-K - Verleen Hancock
  • PRIMARY - 1st-3rd grade - Greg & Becky Sohm
  • PRETEEN - 4th-6th grade - Galen Hancock
  • AWANA - This is the Wednesday night childrens ministry. Awana runs concurrent with the school year. See the "Awana" link at the top of this page. Critter's Church - The Children's Church Coordinator is Ginny Titus. After worship the two year olds through kindergarten leave the main service and go to Children's church. There they participate in a special Bible lesson created just for them.
  • Children's Church - Teaching & Worship geared specifically for our 1st - 6th graders. Meets in the 3rd Place Youth Center.
