EVANGELICAL FRIENDS MISSION

Through EFM we are able to join hands with Friends missionaries all around the world. While we pray for and support all of the ministries of EFM, our main focus is currently with John & Sangi Vanlalhriata and the other EFM missionaries serving in the country of Nepal.

Nepal

Nepal is the home of Mt. Everest and a land of beauty that lives in deep spiritual darkness. Hinduism is the dominant religion, followed by Buddism. Christianity makes up less than two percent of the nation.

Dr. Samson & Priscilla Retnaraj

Dr. Samson & Priscilla Retnaraj Dr. Samson Retnaraj is a Friends medical doctor and Priscilla is a nurse. They are from India. In his first year and a half in Nepal Dr. Samson served as an anesthesiologist at Patan Hospital in Kathmandu. He holds health clinics among our Friends churches and Priscilla serves as a nursing tutor. The thrust of their ministry is beginning Community Health Evangelism Villages that will strengthen and expand the churches throughout Nepal.

• That the would find the right place and people to start medical work in Nepal.
• For peace and stability in Nepal.
• For safety as they travel to churches to train their leaders.
